I love this time of year.

I must confess that Halloween has never been a favorite.

I resonate much more with the Harvest,

(must be the Demeter in me)

and

    Something about the light compelled the post.
    I understand the melancholia.
    As the light fades, I want it glowing inside.
    I think this is our last weekend of “Indian Summer” here in far N. CA
    Time for candles, and fires in the wood stove…
    (am making rosemary olive oil bread in the crockpot {!} today)
